Fabrics made from natural fibres and/or hand woven may vary even within dye lots. This is due to their natural quality and small imperfections such as slubs, skips, dark patches and shade variation in their nature are considered as part of their charm. Occasional twists seen in the fabric should not be viewed as defects. Please take into consideration when selecting fabric made from natural fibre that the colour will vary from one batch to the next.
The Christopher Guy velvet ranges, both plain and embossed, are made from 100% Cotton with an extremely smooth handle. These velvets are all piece-dyed so colors may vary from one dyeing lot to the next. Due to the luxurious pile height, crushing and marking could occur; this is considered part of the fabric characteristics and should not be viewed as a defect. The embossed velvet pattern is expected to become less pronounced and softer with age.
